Understanding anxiety & distressed behaviour

 The Workshop will support families to; 

• To examine and understand anxiety in autism
• To examine behaviours that you find difficult to understand or manage
• To be able to use the WHAT, WHY, and HOW method of understanding behaviour
• To outline practical support to help you and your child to learn to manage anxiety and distressed behaviour 

​Encouraging positive social interaction 

 This Workshop will cover;  

• Including – starting friendships 
•  Maintaining friendships not enough/too many 
•  Our views of our child’s ideal social life vs their views 
•  Encouraging healthy friendships 

 
This would be suitable for parents of younger or older children, not those with adult children.
